KOGUTEX Tjestenine d.o.o.

Description

The company 'KOGUTEX' d.o.o. was founded as a family business in 1991, when the first mixed-goods store was opened in Jertovec, and it is registered as a manufacturing, trading, and service company. In 2016, a subsidiary company, KOGUTEX Tjestenine d.o.o., was established, separating from the trading activities of KOGUTEX d.o.o. and taking over and continuing the production of Zagorje mlinci. In the future, this company will also engage in the production of dried pasta and other food products. KOGUTEX Tjestenine d.o.o. is a certified producer of Zagorje mlinci by the certification body Bureau Veritas Croatia d.o.o. We are the leading producer of this uniquely handmade product, with a production capacity of over 220 tons of Zagorje mlinci per calendar year. In addition to the Croatian market, we export to markets in other EU member states:

The company is 100% privately owned. Our business activity is the production of Zagorje mlinci, products with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) at the EU level and the Croatian Quality mark from the Croatian Chamber of Economy. We employ 17 skilled female workers in our production facility. We have our own logistics (warehouse, trucks, forklifts), and we also work with several transport partners, ensuring delivery within 72 hours anywhere in Croatia upon receiving an order.

Today, we operate with both companies across 5 locations: stores in Konjšćina, Zlatar Bistrica, Galovec, and Bedenica, and the Zagorje mlinci production facility located in Jertovec.
